With 2020 behind us, why not celebrate the start of a new year with a new look in your home. Here’s our summary of the most accessible and versatile interiors trends predicted for 2021.
Arts & Crafts
Those of you who see our window displays will know we are big fans of the Arts & Crafts style, but there is more to the movement than William Morris. Our Christmas window display featured a beautifully delicate yet modern scheme by Prestigious Textiles, showing how you can bring the traditional into your home without it feeling old fashioned.
Global influence
We’re cautiously optimistic about summer holidays this year and love the nod to the Balearic Islands in this collection from Harlequin. It’s adventurous yet subtle, works well as a neutral but can be livened up with accent colours in on-trend ikat patterns or textured weaves.
Botanicals
Another fresh and optimistic style, botanical designs are an enduring favourite of ours. Green is such a versatile and varied colour, from deepest emerald to the freshest minty hews, it can be teamed with simple neutrals for a fresh look or the jewel colours of an English flower bed to liven up any space.
Colour
We expanded our portfolio of designers in 2020 to introduce you to some new styles. Anna French and Thibault use colour and pattern in such way that you can introduce some boldness without it becoming overpowering. Team deep colours with neutrals, strong pattern with plains. A cushion or leading edge in a bold print can bring the wow factor to a room without dominating.
